Melbourne-based artist Hooch finds inspiration (and new sounds) in the noises he experiences around him: from the whining water pipes of his apartment to the chirping of the bird that wakes him up each morning. Once recorded, modified and synthesised, ordinary sounds, along with more traditional instrumentation, form the basis of Hooch's often-relaxed, slow-head-bobbing, thought-provoking music.
